Job Overview:

Lineage is looking for a Director of Business Development and Marketing for our Redistribution Division. This person will develop and lead strategic initiatives to achieve revenue goals and growth objectives by expanding our current customer base through industry relations and brand recognition. This role will be responsible for brand development of the Redistribution business and innovation strategy that is grounded in Customer understanding and supply chain optimization.




  • Successfully develop and launch the Lineage Redistribution brand through trade shows, social media, trade magazines, speaking events and other Customer engagement streams
  • Partner with the senior leadership and Sales team to identify, improve, and facilitate a successful Redistribution value proposition
  • Act as the Lineage Redistribution brand champion and community outreach leader by effectively communicating the differentiated value of Lineage Redistribution’s services while networking and establishing positive relationships within the Foodservice Industry
  • Qualify all new business sales streams
  • Consistently develop business and meet established goals
  • Prepare and deliver customer contracts, proposals, and presentations, and follow up with key decision makers
  • Manage new Customers thru the Lineage onboarding process and hand off to an assigned Account Manager
  • Exceed customer expectations by acting proactively, professionally, and in a positive manner
  • Participate in annual forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes while ensuring efforts are in line with corporate goals and strategies




  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5-10 years' professional sales experience in the Foodservice industry
  • Cold calling and public speaking experience required
  • Creative, out-of-the-box, independent thinker who can implement new sales strategies to close new business
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work cross-functionally with all teams
  • Team player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude and partner with employees and managers across the organization
  • Can live anywhere in the US near a major airport
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Travel required as needed – 40%
