Lineage Logistics is seeking a Director, Business Development for Food Service Solutions within our Redistribution Division. Your will be tasked with developing and leading strategic initiatives to achieve revenue goals and growth objectives by expanding our current customer base. They will be responsible for fostering the Redistribution brand and innovation strategy that is grounded in Customer understanding and supply chain optimization.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with the senior leadership and Sales team to identify, improve, and facilitate a successful Redistribution value proposition
  • Act as the Lineage Redistribution brand champion by effectively communicating the differentiated value of Lineage Redistribution’s products and services while networking and establishing positive relationships within the Foodservice Industry
  • Consistently grow new and existing business and meet established objectives
  • Prepare and deliver customer contracts, proposals, and presentations, and follow up with key decision makers
  • Manage new Customers thru the Lineage onboarding process and hands off to an assigned Account Manager
  • Exceed customer expectations by acting proactively, professionally, and in a positive manner
  • Participate in annual forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes while ensuring efforts are in line with corporate goals and strategies

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5-10 years' professional sales experience in the Food Service industry
  • Cold calling experience required
  • Creative, out-of-the-box, independent thinker who can implement new sales strategies to close new business
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to always act professionally and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work cross-functionally
  • Can live anywhere in the US near a major airport
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check
  • Extensive travel required – 60%
